Sacred Catharsis: A Chakra Journey Through the Lower Triangle
In this workshop style class hosted by Samadhi Healing Arts Center in Johnson City, TN, you will take a deep dive into the lower triangle of chakras with author of Sacred Catharsis, Kelli Hansel Haywood. Kelli will guide you on a personal exploration of your inner world and the experiences that have built the foundations of who you are today. Each of the lower triangle of chakras (muladhara, svadhisthana, and manipura) will be covered, building up from our familial roots to our individuality.
Participants will be lead through guided meditation, writing/journaling prompts, a one hour chakra focused yoga class, and open discussion in the three hour workshop.
Much of the work within our lower triangle can be classified as shadow work. It is the unpacking of the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that have been with us for so long that they have become mostly unconscious. Shadow work is often described as working with the side of ourselves that remains in the dark or that we have repressed. Our shadows are not to be feared however, and there is profound growth that can be experienced, if we are willing to look into the ways our shadows shape our lives. You will find through participating in this workshop that there is significant and sacred beauty to be experienced even in the places we often label as dark. There is tremendous power held within our foundations and our core beliefs.
Come along on this journey April 24, 2022 from 3-6pmEST at Samadhi Healing Arts Center in Johnson City TN (423 W Walnut St, Johnson City, TN 37604).
